Measure the room and the way in
Measure the wall you want the sofa on, then the depth of floor in front of it, and leave a clear walkway. In small homes the tightest point is often the front door, hallway or stairs, not the room. Our guide to whether a sofa will fit through your door shows what to measure.
Small 2 seater or small 3 seater
A 2 seater suits a couple or a second sitting space. If you need three seats, our small 3 seaters start at 176cm, only a few centimetres wider than many 2 seaters. Where the product page lists seat width, compare that too, not just overall width.
Small recliner sofas
Many of our small sofas recline, in manual and electric versions. Allow room in front for the footrest, and for electric models, a plug socket within reach of the cable.
